I Heard It On BAM Radio!

Jay Mathews"This is such an intriguing question... It's not something I've written about. but I've known a lot of gay and lesbian teachers, and you forced me to think through the issues.  I think we're talking about two worlds. Inside the school, I think gay, lesbian and trans-gender teachers are quite comfortable… The comfort level that teachers have with parents outside the school is a different matter all together.... It was a VERY original topic, first time I have seen it discussed anywhere on the airwaves."
