The battle is old but some of the tactics are new. Head Start has faced threats of budget cuts many times before. But this time they have added new media and social media to their arsenal of tools to mobilize their supporters and apply pressure to legislators. In this NHSA Radio segment, the chairman of the board for the National Head Start Association goes on the air to offer three things operators, parents and advocates can do to save Head Start from devastating budget cuts.
