Kathryn H. Au, Chief Executive Officer of SchoolRise, LLC, is the 2009-10 president of the International Reading Association. Kathy’s research interests are school change and the literacy achievement of students of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and she is best known for her work on culturally responsive instruction. A member of the Reading Hall of Fame, Kathy received the Causey Award for outstanding contributions to reading research.
