Patricia (Pat) Edwards is 2010-2011 President of the International Reading Association. Patricia is a distinguished professor of teacher education and a senior university outreach fellow at Michigan State University. For many years, one of Patricia’s main research interests has centered on family literacy in helping parents and children become active, proficient and engaged readers.
