Fred Rogers’ show, Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood, was one of the earliest and most successful television programs created for children. The show broke a lot of new ground and incorporated many of today’s best practices for teaching the basics to very young children. Though Fred Rogers is gone, there is still much we can learn from him. Tune in as his staff shares some of Mr. Rogers’ best insights.

Hedda Sharapan has served in director and producer roles with Family Communications, Inc, (FCI), the small nonprofit company that Fred Rogers founded. Hedda has been at FCI since very beginning of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and continues to carry on his legacy. Her work includes writing articles and books, as well as developing websites and training materials.
